I discovered ExcelRainMan while perusing Daily Candy emails one day. I thought it was clever and filed it away in the back of my mind (and in my emails) for later use since I am the unofficial keeper of many records for my department at my place of employment. One day as my co-workers and I tried to wrestle a huge, much-needed spreadsheet into submission, it dawned on me we may be able to get help to turn this doc into something actually helpful that we could use forever.
