On the Data Bubble

Welcome to March Madness 2015!! Once again, it’s time again for Americans to take a last minute interest in college basketball by doing 15 minutes of research prior to filling out 8 NCAA Brackets and flush hundreds of dollars down the commode in the process! And yes, the Nation’s productivity will slow to a crawl as businesspeople slink out of the office at noon for “emergency dentist appointments” and “sick children” only to be found 9 beers deep at the end of the day cheering their guts out for Lafayette… even though they went to Lehigh.

So as we enter this beautiful time of year, we may again begin to ponder some of the more important queries of bracketology…

Can this year’s undefeated Wildcats reign supreme? When did VillaNoFun become good again? Seriously, I haven’t paid attention to Nova since Kerry Kittles. When will Duke tap out, crushing the dreams of countless Cameron Crazies… all while I do my best Mr. Burns laugh (excellent) as the nerd–tears flow and their carefully applied body paint begins to collect at their feet in a blue pool of dashed hope? Hopefully soon… like really soon.

Well, all of these questions and more will be answered in the coming weeks and what better way to celebrate than by putting some hard earned smackeroos on the line for what may be one of the best March Madnesses ever!

So before the craze of overtimes and upset alerts begin, it’s time to download the FREE Excel Rain Man 2015 NCAA Bracket Manager!! This is the latest MVP spreadsheet effort from our own Allyssa Tzavlakis!!

This Excel Rain Man NCAA Bracket Manager is ideal for folks who can answer yes to any of the following:
* Does your office restrict access to sports sites such CBSSportsline and ESPN?
* Do you need a little admin help in managing your bracket pool, so you can fully enjoy the madness?

The 2015 NCAA Bracket Manager is a game changer for folks who want to focus on bracketology in the office while appearing to be working on a spreadsheet masterpiece! Cuz Excel isn’t restricted in the workplace…

Here’s how it works:
Direct the pool entrants to download the 2015 NCAA Brackets for free from the Tips & Tricks page of www.ExcelRainMan.com. Ask all participants to enter their Name where indicated on the form then they will use simple drop-down menus in the Bracket to select their picks for each game.

After completing and saving their bracket, participants can send their completed brackets back to the Pool Manager, who can easily upload everyone’s 2015 NCAA Bracket(s) into the 2015 NCAA Bracket Manager (simple instructions for uploading brackets are also provided in the Tips & Tricks section of ExcelRainMan.com). The Pool Manager has full control over the point system used for each round (i.e. First Round: 1 point per-win, Second Round: 2 points per-win etc.).

As March Madness progresses, the Pool Manager can simply select each game’s winner (in the “winner” tab) using the drop-down menus, and our Bad Ass Bracket Manager will tally the standings.

With this Excel Rain Man March Madness solution, people can get around having to use online accounts with the likes of ESPN.com or CBS Sportsline. Instead, participants can save their completed personal, print-ready 2015 NCAA Brackets to their desktop for easy reference, and all the while, look like they are diligently working on a kick-a$$ spreadsheet.

Let the Madness begin!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the use of Macros, the 2015 NCAA Bracket Manager will not work properly on Mac Computers. However, individual Brackets can be filled out by Mac and PC users. Mac users filling out the brackets must save their bracket with a .xlsx extension.
