How to enable Macros in your goodies spreadsheets
A macro is a series of commands that you can use to automate a repeated task and can be run when you have to perform the task. Macros automate frequently used tasks to save time on keystrokes and mouse actions.
However, some macros can pose a security risk, For this reason, Excel’s default setting is to disable all macros with notification.
So, when opening the file, make sure you enable the macros.
Microsoft Office 2003 or earlier
To do this in Microsoft Office 2003 or earlier, a pop-up will appear. Select “Enable Macros”.
Microsoft Office 2007
To do this in Microsoft Office 2007, a banner will appear at the top on the spreadsheet. Select “Options”… and then on the pop-up window that appears, select “Enable this content” and click OK.
Microsoft Office 2010 or later & Microsoft Office 365
To do this in Microsoft Office 2010 or later, a banner will appear at the top on the spreadsheet. Select “Enable Content”.
Excel for Mac
To do this in Mac / iOS, a pop-up will appear on top of the spreadsheet. Select “Enable Macros”.
