My definition of “Agita”: Your fantasy football league commish schedules the draft with 3 full weeks of NFL preseason remaining because his boss (who you didn’t want to join the league in the first place) planned his Yellowstone RV Trip at the end of August as if to intentionally maximize your squad’s exposure to injury! Did this happen to my husband? Yes. Did he consider driving to Buffalo to check personally on C.J. Spiller’s MRI results? Maybe so… But who hasn’t stressed “a bit” over their squad. This is important stuff here people (sort of/not really)!!!

Well… In an effort to avoid gastrointestinal agitators such as these, Excel Rain Man is bringin’ it once again with a slightly more “zen” form of week-to-week recreational football gambling with the Excel Rain Man Football Survivor Pool!

The FREE Excel Rain Man Football Survivor Pool is back for Season 5 and is ready to assist pick ‘um pool managers out there with a simple splendid spreadsheet solution. Allyssa Tzavlakis went all Jadeveon Clowney on this amazing template to create our most rockin’ pool management tool yet!

For those of you who don’t know, this is an Excel Rain Tool for managing your own survivor-style football pool using Microsoft Excel. Survivor Pool spreadsheets still aren’t really available on the market these days (you’re welcome), and more and more offices are starting to block access to the available online providers.

With this useful and discrete tool, pool managers can look as though they are working on the “Adrian Peterson” of spreadsheets in the cubicle, while secretly feeding their ravenous hunger for office wagering… So genius right?

Here’s the deal.
Rules:
– Each week pool participants will choose one football team to win, straight up (i.e. no spreads)
– Once a participant has chosen a team, they will be unable to choose that team for the remainder of the season
– If your team wins, you move on to the next week
– The league manager can choose single or double elimination style and how to handle ties in NFL games

Logistics:
– A Pool Manager is needed to coordinate this “spread-tasterpiece” and will enter selections each week for the participants
– The manager must use a PC but anyone can participate in the fun!
– Each Pool Participant will email his or her weekly selection to the pool manager (prior to the first game of the week)
