Here are some more yummy shortcuts that gaming monitors peeps can’t get enough of…
1. Insert the current date – place the cursor on any cell… and
PC shortcut: hold Control and select ;
Mac shortcut: hold Control and select ;
2. Insert the current time – place the cursor on any cell… and
PC shortcut: hold Control and select : … this is really hold Control, hold Shift and select ;
Mac shortcut: hold Control and select : … this is really hold Control, hold Shift and select ;
3. Insert a new line within a cell – do you ever want to type in a cell in excel and then hit enter to start a new paragraph or something, but it just brings you to the cell below it? Turn that frown upside down! Start typing in a cell and when you want to move on to the next line…
PC shortcut: hold Alt and select Enter
Mac shortcut: hold Command, hold Option and select Enter
4. Edit a formula in a cell – place the cursor on any cell … and
PC shortcut: select F2
Mac shortcut: hold Control and select u
You can then continue editing using the keyboard and ditching the mouse. Holla!

5. Select all the data in a worksheet – place the cursor on any cell … and
PC shortcut: hold Control and select a
Mac shortcut: hold Command and select a
Now you can format the whole darn thing at once!!

Small Biz Spotlight
I have a small confession to make… While this may come as a shock to most of you, I do not share many common interests with famed reality star and all around class machine, Nicole “Snookie” Polizzi of the Jersey Shore.
