This is a New York-based men’s and women’s contemporary fashion label which sells clothes and accessories with over 200 retail locations around the world and global sales approaching $1 billion in 2014.

Client was spending too much time manually preparing bi-monthly sales reports across seven product lines. In this case, twelve different steps were required to produce each report, involving the manipulation of up to 20,000 individual records of accounting data. Preparing a single product line report could take 3+ hours to complete.

We were able to create a customized solution that automated the twelve step reporting procedure through the use of VBA programming.

The client is now able to simply open the custom workbook and select any of the four seasons, depending on the time of year. The final product, which now requires only minutes to complete, is a table containing sales by product line, season and delivery within the season.
